Skiiers and snowboarders had a great winter to play in, but that doesn’t mean drought isn’t a concern.

“Northwest Oregon, including the central Northwest cascades have been doing quite well in terms of snowpack,” said Matt Warbritton, lead hydrologist and spokesperson for the Oregon Snow Survey and Water Forecasting Supply Program, which is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service.
