After four years at the helm of the city of Sandy, City Manager Jordan Wheeler is planning his exit. Wheeler was chosen to fill the shoes of former city manager Kim Yamashita in 2018 and took over the office on Jan. 1, 2019, just as Sandy was poised to swear in a new mayor: Stan Pulliam.

“It was an interesting time to come in, with a new mayor, but it’s been fun working for a council that is engaged and passionate,” Wheeler said. “We’ve maintained a great rapport between council and staff.”
