Bull Run Bridge

The Bull Run Bridge was placed over Bull Run River in 1926.

Bull Run Bridge, which is located north of Sandy and runs over the Bull Run River, is now more than 126 years old. Like anything more than a century old, it has seen better days, and without proper funding to replace it, this connector for the Bull Run area might be closed.

After several community members have voiced concerns, and weight limits were implemented on the bridge, Clackamas County Board of Commissioners has approved the reallocation of $2 million earmarked to fund work on the Dodge Park bridge to aid in grant fund procurement to replace Bull Run. A replacement is on the to-do list, but it won’t be checked off any time soon.
