Berta Limbaugh, director of the production, reported that despite some sickness, the children’s hard work is already showing.

“They’re just brilliant, they’re wonderful,” she said.

Meanwhile, Wilhite noted the theater has received approximately 300 reservations already, an impressive feat before the show actually opens. He said he hopes the show leads to a “major push” toward children’s theater for Sandy Actors Theatre.

“These are the kids who are going to take the theater over some day,” Wilhite said.

The Sandy Actors Theatre presents The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” from Nov. 20 through Dec. 19 at 17433 Meinig Ave. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 for students and seniors.
