Former Sandy resident Donald A. Brouillette, 53, died Tuesday, July 21, at his home in Klamath Falls.
A memorial service was held Thursday, July 23, in Klamath Falls at his brother Tony’s home.
Donald was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Glendale, Calif., to Larry and Mary Brouillette.
On June 8, 1974, he married Karen Huntsinger in California. They moved to Oregon in 1980, and then later divorced.
Donald spent most of his adult life as a Journeyman meat cutter, working in and owning his own butcher shop. He loved flying, fishing, hunting, camping, spending time on his property near the Sprague River, music and spending time with his family. He was a supporter of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed every opportunity he had to be outdoors.
Survivors include his sons, Donald L. Brouillette of Grants Pass and Tyler Brouillette of Orangevale, Calif.; daughters, Heidi Simpson of Grants Pass and Lisa York of Sandy; mother, Mary Brouillette of Klamath Falls; father, Larry Brouillette of Gresham; three brothers of Klamath Falls; one sister of Grants Pass; and six grandchildren.

Former Sandy resident Cora Anna Barr, 94, died Wednesday, July 29, in Oregon City.
A private graveside service will be held at Redland Pioneer Cemetery in Redland.
Cora was born Nov. 1, 1914, in Holcombe, Wis., to Earl Belose Ellenburger and Gertrude Theresa Boles.
