James Mire and John Leckie have begun a venture that is not only dear to their hearts because they have been involved for years with computers, but they also have a mission to fulfill.
They want to make personal computers more personal to their owners – to help people understand them from the inside out.
The two entrepreneurs, who look like brothers, have begun a business relationship in Sandy that offers personal service and sales for all types of computers.
Not only have they purchased the Sandy Shipping Center, they’ve also moved LeckieTech computers from Leckie’s home in Sandy to the Sandy Shipping Center storefront at 38250 Pioneer Blvd.
At the new location, Leckie says he has and does “all things computer.”
That means he will install, repair, troubleshoot or replace any operating system. Since both have many years of experience in information technology, they are able to train or consult and can provide a solution to any IT situation.
Mire – who manages sales and marketing for LeckieTech – says he has been working for the past 20 years with everything from personal computers to large corporate networks.
