Chocolatier Sarah Swenson of Sandy displays some of the new Dove Chocolate Discoveries products that she offers to her clients. Dubbed “The Chocolate Mom,” Swenson is the only Dove representative in the metro area, save the reps that she is training.

Sarah Swenson’s new business also is new to the West Coast. After a successful launch in other parts of the United States, the unique products of Dove Discoveries have found their way to Northwest Oregon, thanks to Swenson and the representatives she is training.

Actually, she says, a lot of training is not necessary. The products sell themselves, she says. After all, who doesn’t like chocolate?

Dove Discoveries is part of the Dove (Mars Corp.) company, but these products are designed for sale at home parties.

Swenson says this time is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and watch a business grow.

The products and their flavors are so unique that they will draw a lot of curiosity – products such as chocolate-covered almonds and cranberries, white chocolate smoothie, five-minute chocolate mousse, chocolate chai tea, chocolate fondue for dipping strawberries, pretzels or marshmallows and homemade products such as candy and truffle fudge brownies.

Dove Discoveries home parties are a good choice, Swenson says, for stay-at-home moms or retired folks to supplement family income.
